Your First visit
The American Academy of Pediatrics Dentistry recommends parents have their child seen by a dentist no later than their first birthday.On your first visit you can expect to get an office tour and accompany your child to the clinical area with the dental assistant. The age of your child will determine what we can accomplish at their first visit. Age 3 and under typically Dr. Chuang will see your child for a comprehensive exam, oral hygiene instruction and a fluoride treatment if necessary.
At age 4 and older most children will receive their first prophylaxis (teeth cleaning), necessary x-rays, fluoride treatment, and a comprehensive examination by Dr. Chuang. After the examination the doctor will consult with you about your child and answer any questions or concerns you may have. Our goal is to make your child comfortable and to have a “Happy visit”.
Scheduling policies
Our practice is dedicated to quality care and exceptional service. We respect importance of our patient’s time and work very hard to schedule appointments that accommodate busy scheduling needs. In return we do ask that our patients make every effort to arrive on time to scheduled appointments. We encourage patients to show up 15 minutes early to appointments. Changing appointments will require 24 hour notice so that we may accommodate another patient.
Become A "No Cavity Club" Member!
If your child has no cavities at his/her dental visit they may enter our monthly drawing. Our office does this as we want to recognize the excellent oral hygiene of our patients.The winner will receive a gift card!! The entries are accumulated for a year end drawing for a special GRAND PRIZE!! Ask our receptionist for more details.

What about Finances?
Payment for services is due at the time dental treatment is provided. We will make every effort to provide you with a treatment plan that best fits your needs. We accept cash, debit cards, Visa and MasterCard. As an Additional option, we also provide third party financing through CareCredit.Dental Insurance
We are providers for Washington Dental Services (WDS), MetLife, Cigna, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Regence and accept all traditional dental insurance.Please understand that we will file dental claims with your insurance company as a courtesy. We do not have a contract with your insurance company. We are not responsible for how your insurance company handles your claim or for what benefits they pay. Our financial coordinator will do the best to give you an estimated portion for treatment.
